How to Join our Newly Affiliated Chapter

    We Did It – We're Official!  

    We're thrilled to announce that the SHRM Bucks County Chapter has officially received our SHRM affiliation from National SHRM! Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this incredible milestone. Your support, participation, and commitment to building our local HR community made this possible.  

    Now that we're affiliated, we’re officially part of the SHRM family. It means we can: 

    • Provide enhanced programming and resources to our members, including continuing education credits for our programming. 
    • Facilitate the opportunity for you to build a vibrant, local peer network in Bucks County 
    • Offer direct access to SHRM's extensive network and benefits 
    • Build stronger partnerships with local businesses and organizations 

     
    ACTION NEEDED!  

    Take the steps to join our chapter | As an added incentive to help us launch this chapter - there will be $0 chapter dues for those who designate SHRM Bucks County as your primary chapter through Dec 31, 2025.

    For Current SHRM Members: 

    If you're already a national SHRM member (you may have previously belonged to a different PA chapter and designated that chapter as your primary.  Others may have never declared one of the PA chapters as their primary chapter.) We are asking you to check the box to make SHRM Bucks County Chapter your primary chapter – this is critical as we launch to build our member base!

    Visit THIS LINK and then: 

    • Click ‘Add Chapter to Existing Membership’ on the right 
    • Under Choose Chapter – click the drop downs menus and select “Pennsylvania” as the location and "SHRM Bucks County" as the local chapter.  (2nd to the last option)
    • CHECK THE BOX – Mark the chapter as primary
    • Click – Add to Cart button – follow the process to check out, but there is no cost

     

    For New SHRM Members: 

    If you’re not yet a SHRM member, you will need to become a SHRM member in order to join our chapter – National SHRM is requiring any new affiliates as well as established chapters to move to Dual Membership.

    Visit this link -  New SHRM Member Link and then:
     

    • Click ‘Join Now’
    • Click ‘Join/Renew’
    • Select Professional or Student Membership
    • Click Add to Cart
    • Under Choose Chapter – click the drop downs menus and select “Pennsylvania” as the location and "SHRM Bucks County" as the local chapter.  (2nd to the last option).
    • CHECK THE BOX – Mark the chapter as primary
    • Click – Add to Cart button – follow the process to check out

    National SHRM membership ($299/year) gives you access to all SHRM benefits including HR resources, career development tools, compliance guidance, and our local chapter programming.
